Where the TRVL lx wins: day-one readiness
No other premium compact hands you a newborn-ready rig with zero follow-up purchases. The TRVL lx's seat reclines nearly flat and its raising calf support turns it into a carriage position, so week-one babies ride properly out of the box. Car trips stay simple too: any Nuna PIPA infant seat clicks straight onto the frame — no adapter parts to buy or misplace. Around town it behaves bigger than it is: 45.5 inches of handlebar height suits tall parents who hunch over most compacts, the one-hand fold stands upright when collapsed, the included carry bag covers transit, and the MagneTech buckle closes itself. Buy the Babyzen YOYO2 if flights anchor your decision. Its fold is a full size class smaller, it's the lighter lift, and no competitor has matched the overhead-bin formula since Babyzen defined it. Just budget honestly: frame, color pack, and a Newborn Pack if your baby is under six months.
