Stroller Folded Volume Calculator
How much trunk space does that stroller really eat? Enter folded length × width × height and get the volume in cubic inches and liters — ranked against five fact-checked travel strollers.
Calculated from published dimensions, not physically measured. Reference figures come from manufacturer documentation and authorized-retailer listings retrieved 2026-08-23; source register in Data Sources.
Calculator
Measure your stroller folded (or paste specs from any product page), pick the unit, and calculate. Percentiles compare against our five-stroller reference fleet below.
Reference fleet: five ranked strollers (+1 listed for reference), by folded volume
Pre-computed from each manufacturer's published folded dimensions (L × W × H). Rank 1 = most compact. Compactness percentile = share of this five-stroller fleet that folds larger. Calculated from published dimensions, not physically measured.
| Stroller | Folded dims (in) | Volume (cu in) | Volume (cm³) | Compactness percentile | Airline fit claim |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Babyzen YOYO2 (6+) | 20 × 17 × 7 | 2,380 | ≈39,001 | P0 — smallest of the fleet | IATA overhead-bin fit (manufacturer) |
| Joolz Aer² | 20.9 × 17.3 × 9.2 | 3,326 | ≈54,504 | P20 | IATA compliant (manufacturer) |
| Bugaboo Butterfly 2 | 17.6 × 9.6 × 21.8 | 3,683 | ≈60,352 | P40 | IATA-compatible fold (manufacturer) |
| UPPAbaby Minu V3 | 10 × 18 × 21.5 | 3,870 | ≈63,418 | P60 | IATA compatible (manufacturer) |
| Bombi Bēbee V2 | 23.375 × 19.75 × 10 | 4,617 | ≈75,676 | P80 — bulkiest of the fleet | "Nearly carry-on," no IATA certification claimed |
| Nuna TRVL lx | 14.25 × 21 × 27 | Not ranked — see method note | No explicit cabin certification found | ||
Nuna TRVL lx is deliberately not ranked. Its published folded figure (14.25 × 21 × 27 in) is specified without quick-release wheels removed and the configuration varies, so our evidence database records no computed volume for it. Rather than invent one, we leave it out of the ranking.
Real-world folded bulk also depends on handlebars, wheels and bumper bars protruding beyond the boxed dimensions. Two strollers with equal box volume can stack very differently in a trunk. Airline fit is always "confirm with your airline" — sizers vary by carrier and aircraft.
