Babyzen YOYO2 review

The stroller that turned "compact fold" into a status symbol — reviewed for what it actually solves, and what it can't.

Last reviewed: 2026-08-23. Figures verified against BABYZEN's official US store dimensions and authorized-retailer listings (Kidsland, Bebeang Baby); CPSC & NHTSA recall databases checked this date (sources below).

Quick verdict

The YOYO2 is the best-known cabin-size travel stroller for one reason: the fold. At roughly 13.6 lb with a folded package of 20″L × 17″W × 7″H, it fits airline overhead bins, restaurant booths, and hallway closets — nothing else in its price class disappears this completely. The trade-offs are structural: no included newborn solution (Newborn Pack or bassinet cost extra), no second-rider path, small wheels that prefer smooth pavement, and a buying experience split across frame, color pack, and newborn accessories. Buy it as a second stroller or a dedicated traveler; don't buy it expecting one stroller to do everything.

Availability note: Babyzen (now part of the Stokke group) still sells the YOYO2 alongside the newer YOYO3. On Amazon US, only the frame (verified $188.30, Aug 2026) and 6+ color packs (from $79.99) sell separately — complete strollers are sold through authorized Babyzen/Stokke retailers, which is where warranty coverage applies. We note generation differences wherever they change a number.

What we like

Where it falls short

Who it fits

Look elsewhere if: this must be your only stroller from birth — the included-bassinet, double-capable full-size systems do that job and the YOYO2 structurally cannot.

How it compares

Is the YOYO2 right for you? Answer three questions.

Where to buy (verified Aug 2026): No verified Amazon US listing exists for the complete YOYO2 stroller — the frame ($188.30) and color packs sell separately there, and we won't link a partial buy. Purchase the complete stroller through an authorized Babyzen/Stokke retailer so warranty coverage applies.
